Using ingredients like lavender, basil and green tea to name a few, Take the Cake creates portable and delicious works of art that become the centerpiece of any celebration. An Asheville-based bakery, we use organic and local products whenever possible to bring you seasonal specialties and year round favorites. We create tarts and other individual pastries as well. Come visit us at the Asheville City tailgate market every Saturday from April through December and try one of our famous sticky buns or stop by Malaprop's Cafe and Bookstore in downtown Asheville to pick up a cupcake or two! Of course we always welcome a call or email to place a special order for any celebration.
