Take the Cake is a family-run business in Asheville, NC. Anomaly Romano, an A-B Tech Culinary Arts graduate, started baking small tarts and cupcakes for friends in August 2008 for birthday parties and get-togethers. With the support and patience of her husband and daughter, the business has been expanded, although Anomaly decided to specialize in her personal favorite item-cupcakes! Portable and completely satisfying, Anomaly's cupcakes come in great flavors like Tiramisu, Lavender with Citrus Buttercream, and spicy Mexican Chocolate.
